our decob

In June we participated in DECOB; a collective art show with the
intention of raising awareness for reducing our consumption of plastic
bags. Artists were asked to use their bag as a canvas to express
their thoughts on the subject. This was our submission: Confessions
of a recovering plastic bag-aholic
. The show ran here from
June 26—July 13 but will exhibit as well in Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong,
London and New York. There is an online catalogue featuring the
work of all the other artists that participated in the show.

mouse type

There are those moments sometimes when you see something
someone else has done and it's sickeningly inspirational... I know
you know what I'm talking about. When you see something right
up your alley and you weren't the one that came up with it, and
it just drives you. This little mouse did it for us. A redesign for one
of Microsofts European creative awards.

Hello! You There!

{via create/reject }

Another brilliant idea spawning small changes throughout the
urban landscape. Create/Reject is the design and art direction of
James West; and Hello! You There! is a self initiated project that
allows
Create/Reject to send out a piece of your constructive advice
anonymously via post in the hopes of inspiring change and perhaps
make things around here just a smidgen better.

the envelope please

{andrew bush via ali loves curtis}

We've been admiring this brilliant collection of envelopes
put together by Andrew Bush. We just love envelopes—the
front, the back, the flaps—it's too bad that emails don't come
in an envelope. Andrew has some other assorted collections
as well; a definite must look.

harmonie intérieure

Harmonie interieure makes beautiful stuff, but these wall stickers
just take the cake.
