yum

I'd be okay if either one of these two emmy nominations for title sequence wins.

footprints

{found via pan-dan}

70 year-old Buddhist monk Hua Chi has been praying in the same
spot at his temple in Tongren, China for over 20 years. Now that's
one way to make your mark.

wonderland

Came across Yeondoo Jung's charming photos from the Wonderland
project.
The collaborative effort brings to life the fantasy drawings of
kindergarten children in Seoul.

I ride heart

Did the ride for heart this weekend. 50k. Got to ride on the DVP.
Loved it. Thanks so much to all those who supported and sponsored
me. I'm hooked.

install art

Sweet installation at Rosa Mexicana in NYC paying hommage to
the cliff divers in Acapulco. Fond memories. The restaurant itself
is a great spot as well; if you're in the neighbourhood.

format dummy

Having a brilliant time with these old stamps Amy collected and
brought to the studio. Would love to find something to use them on.
Can't help but want to add some punctuation to this one though;
"format... dummy!".

gift bag window

I picked up a souvenir postcard from the Dali exhibit at the MoMA. I'm
digging how it looks through the letter windows of the gallery gift bag. I
may quite possibly never take it out.

flux + form

Our good friend and jewellery designer Kim Drosdick has opened
a new boutique: flux + form. We absolutely love the natural shapes
and simple classic styles in both her metal and bead work. Also, if
you're in the market for an engagement or wedding ring, Kim makes
the most elegant and interesting ones I've seen. I've got my favourite
tucked away with her somewhere.

our decob

In June we participated in DECOB; a collective art show with the
intention of raising awareness for reducing our consumption of plastic
bags. Artists were asked to use their bag as a canvas to express
their thoughts on the subject. This was our submission: Confessions
of a recovering plastic bag-aholic
. The show ran here from
June 26—July 13 but will exhibit as well in Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong,
London and New York. There is an online catalogue featuring the
work of all the other artists that participated in the show.

mouse type

There are those moments sometimes when you see something
someone else has done and it's sickeningly inspirational... I know
you know what I'm talking about. When you see something right
up your alley and you weren't the one that came up with it, and
it just drives you. This little mouse did it for us. A redesign for one
of Microsofts European creative awards.
